About

My time is mainly spent selling digital services and doing public speaking. I am the co-founder of the digital marketing agency World Wide Creative and digital marketing community forum, The Heavy Chef Project. I've also got this 'thing on the side' called Ideate, the only entrepreneurial blog in South Africa written by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs.

I'm obsessed with creativity, brand-strategy, problem solving and entrepreneurship. I'm deeply passionate about South Africa, my home country. I live in a weird little place called Hout Bay, a sort-of suburb of Cape Town where eccentric rich people live alongside bohemians, bong-smoking fishermen and 18,000 shack-dwellers in abject poverty. Hout Bay is a microcosm of Africa and my home, for now.

I believe that at the heart of great business is great creativity. This site is aimed at showcasing the diverse, eccentric, inspiring, weird, wonderful and tasty creative stuff that keeps me going on a day-to-day basis. I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to connect with me (drop me an email or follow me on Twitter).

I do a lot of presentations on building communities, like the one I did below at Ogilvy's studio in Cape Town. Most days however I just do fun stuff with social media.
